This lightweight fleece hood is made for mountaineering but works excellent for other high output activities like trail running, ski touring and general outdoor sports due to its superb breathability. This is a lightweight midlayer with a grid-structured interior – allowing for plenty of airflow. Perfect for use in both summer and winter. This fleece hood is so comfortable and soft that you can wear it directly against your skin if you like.
Norrona uses lightweight warm1 fabrics in this jacket because it offers great durability, quick-drying properties and good warmth to weight ratio.
The main fabric is a lofty fleece in 100% recycled PES. This material has great thermal properties with low weight (110g/m2). Second material is a lightweight knitted, one sided grid fleece with great stretchability (92% recycled Polyester and 8% Elastane -130g/m2). This jacket is treated with HeiQ fresh FFL anti-odour.
